Description

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily from Monday-Thursday to the company’s Clarksville, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified candidates with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Set up CNC lathes to produce components.

• Upload CNC programs into machines using Fanuc controls

• Change out tooling for CNC machines as required.

• Assist operators in other machine/part setup.

• Verify that first run parts meet required specifications.

• Work from process sheets, blueprints or other written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production setup tasks.

• Help to maintain machines and work areas in a clean and safe manner.

• Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Second Shift (4:30 pm - 4:30 am)

• Experience operating CNC lathe machines a plus.

• Experience being able to read programs on Fanuc controls a plus

• Must be able make adjustments on the controls for speeds and feeds

• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, depth and height gauges, and other measuring tools a plus.

• Must be able to communicate professionally with machinists, supervisors, and managers

• Requires average math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. Must also be able to convert fractions to decimals.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

• Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies

• Must be able to consistently stand for entire 9-hour shift
