WSP is currently initiating a search for an Entry-Level CAD Operator I for our Houston office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide CAD drafting for Transportation projects.

  • Performs basic discipline design tasks as directed by immediate supervisor.

  • Ability to understand and interpret topographic survey and base mapping including coordinates, elevations, contours, utility symbols, roadway symbols, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.

  • Experience with Microstation, BIM, ArcGIS and ProjectWise is a plus.

  • Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.

Job Requirements

Experience Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of formal CAD training in Microstation (preferred) or AutoCad.

  • High School Diploma is required.

  • CAD certification is a plus.

  • Local candidates only.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with others
