This position requires meticulous execution and supervision of secretarial duties involved with recording and maintaining of inventories of supplies and equipment. How you will make an impact

  • Interacting with internal business partners to deliver excellent customer service

  • Confirm material received to pinpoint irregularities, inspect articles and reject defective ones

  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Analyst

  • Take on data entry tasks, prepare inventory records and reports, and deal with conflicting documentation information

  • Principally responsible for counting, classifying, and maintaining a vast inventory of items

  • Assisting with internal and external auditing, as necessary

  • Meticulously implement day-to-day practices in a prompt fashion; adhere to Company policies

  • Handle special tasks per request

  • General understanding of Inventory Management Software desired

  • Candidates with an AA or BS/BA degree specializing in Accounting encouraged to apply

  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data entry

  • Foundational knowledge in inventory management

  • Strong familiarity with inventory

  • Command of billing

  • Basic experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is preferable

  • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

  • Background in inventory preferred

-Ability to be on call, work overtime, work after hours

  • Comfortable with logistics records relating to quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued
