Position Summary:

We are looking for a Clinical Application Support Analyst to work on Allscripts and TouchWorks. These two programs help physicians run their practice and manage electronic health records. You will need to be able to work on these programs, so we prefer an applicant with specific experience in Allscripts and TouchWorks, or at the very least experience with an EHR program in medium to large clinical environments.

You will provide entry level support for end users on the Practice Management System (PM), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ancillary systems that use Allscripts and TouchWorks. You must utilize their reporting system to document and assign reported customer issues. You will work with senior analysts in the troubleshooting, testing and resolution of reported system issues.

This position will work in the Medical Center in our Professional Building. It is full time, and eligible for all benefits.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  1. Provides front line support for PM and/or EHR system - Allscripts and TouchWorks.

  2. Participates in selected PM and EHR full life cycle system deployments as assigned.

  3. Assists customers/healthcare personnel with basic system requests.

  4. Solicits feedback and guidance of best practices from senior department team members, assisting with process development.

  5. Assists in the resolution of reported issues while working with senior team members and healthcare providers.

  6. Analyzes and reports to senior team members the workflow adherence by customers during on-site clinic visit.

  7. Other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

Good analytical and problem solving skills; working knowledge of MS Office products; good computing, analytical and organizational skills.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

Two years of experience in clinical applications support, preferably GE/IDX, Allscripts /Sunrise, and/or Siemens/Invision, as well as experience in a clinical setting (inpatient or outpatient).

The emphasis on this role will be on TouchWorks and Allscripts.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
